स्कंदश्शक्तिं समादाय मयूरस्थस्सघंटकः ॥ देव्यास्समीपे संतस्थौ द्वितीय इव पावकः ॥ ३६ ॥

Holding his Śakti and a bell and seated on his peacock, Skanda stood near the goddess like another fìregod.

नंदी शूलं समादाय भवाग्रे समवस्थितः ॥ सर्वभूतगणाश्चैवं मातरो विविधाः स्थिताः ॥ ३७ ॥

Nandin stood in front of Śiva holding the trident. All the goblins, Gaṇas and the mothers were present there.

naMdI zUlaM samAdAya bhavAgre samavasthitaH ॥ sarvabhUtagaNAzcaivaM mAtaro vividhAH sthitAH ॥ 37 ॥

तेऽभिवाद्य महेशानं परिवार्य्य समंततः ॥ अस्तुवन्विविधैः स्तोत्रैर्महादेवं तदा सुराः ॥ ३८॥

Bowing to lord Śiva and surrounding him on all sides, the gods eulogised the lord with different kinds of hymns.

te'bhivAdya mahezAnaM parivAryya samaMtataH ॥ astuvanvividhaiH stotrairmahAdevaM tadA surAH ॥ 38॥

यत्किंचित्तु जगत्यस्मिन्दृश्यते श्रूयतेऽथवा ॥ तत्सर्वं भगवत्पार्श्वे निरीक्ष्याहं सुविस्मितः ॥ ३९॥

I saw on cither side of the lord whatever is seen or heard in this world. I was surprised at it.

yatkiMcittu jagatyasmindRzyate zrUyate'thavA ॥ tatsarvaM bhagavatpArzve nirIkSyAhaM suvismitaH ॥ 39॥

सुमहद्धैर्य्यमालंब्य प्रांजलिर्विविधैः स्तवैः॥ परमानन्दसंमग्नोऽभूवं कृष्णाहमद्ध्वरे॥ ४०॥

With great courage he offered various hymns with folded hands I was immersed in supreme bliss in the sacrifice of Krishna.
