अंतर्बहीरजाश्चैव त्रिजगत्सृष्टिकृद्विधिः ।। एवं गुणास्त्रिदेवेषु गुणभिन्नः शिवः स्मृतः ।। ६१ ।।

sanskrit

Brahmā who creates the three worlds has Rajas both within and without. This is the position of the Guṇas in the three deities. Śiva is spoken of as different from the Guṇas.

english translation

aMtarbahIrajAzcaiva trijagatsRSTikRdvidhiH || evaM guNAstrideveSu guNabhinnaH zivaH smRtaH || 61 ||

विष्णो सृष्टिकरं प्रीत्या पालयैनं पितामहम् ।। संपूज्यस्त्रिषु लोकेषु भविष्यसि मदाज्ञया ।।६२ ।।

sanskrit

O Viṣṇu, guard lovingly this Pitāmaha who is the cause of creation. At my bidding, you will be worthy of respect in the three worlds.

english translation

viSNo sRSTikaraM prItyA pAlayainaM pitAmaham || saMpUjyastriSu lokeSu bhaviSyasi madAjJayA ||62 ||

तव सेव्यो विधेश्चापि रुद्र एव भविष्यति ।। शिवपूर्णावतारो हि त्रिजगल्लयकारकः।।६३।।

sanskrit

Rudra shall be worshipped by you and Brahmā. The author of dissolution of the three worlds is the complete incarnation of Śiva.

english translation

tava sevyo vidhezcApi rudra eva bhaviSyati || zivapUrNAvatAro hi trijagallayakArakaH||63||

पाद्मे भविष्यति सुतः कल्पे तव पितामहः ।। तदा द्रक्ष्यसि मां चैव सोऽपि द्रक्ष्यति पद्मजः ।। ६४ ।।

sanskrit

In the Kalpa called Pādma, Pitāmaha will be born as your son. Then you will see me. The lotus-born Brahmā shall also see me.

english translation

pAdme bhaviSyati sutaH kalpe tava pitAmahaH || tadA drakSyasi mAM caiva so'pi drakSyati padmajaH || 64 ||

एवमुक्त्वा महेशानः कृपां कृत्वातुलां हरः ।। पुनः प्रोवाच सुप्रीत्या विष्णुं सर्वेश्वरः प्रभुः ।। ६५ ।।

After saying this and conferring unequalled mercy, the great lord Hara again spoke lovingly to Viṣṇu.

evamuktvA mahezAnaH kRpAM kRtvAtulAM haraH || punaH provAca suprItyA viSNuM sarvezvaraH prabhuH || 65 ||
