तद्दृष्ट्वा चरितं शम्भुः कौतुकी सूतिकृत्कृती ।। अन्तर्यामी विहस्याथोवाच ज्ञात्वा रसां हरः ।।2.3.10.२०।।

sanskrit

Śiva knew that she was the Earth. Śiva, the cause of protection and enjoyment, the immanent soul, on seeing her activities became contented and eagerly said to her laughingly.

english translation

taddRSTvA caritaM zambhuH kautukI sUtikRtkRtI || antaryAmI vihasyAthovAca jJAtvA rasAM haraH ||2.3.10.20||
