तत्राजगाम सुप्रीत्या कियद्गुणयुतः प्रभुः ॥ तपः कर्तुं सतीप्रेमविरहाकुलमानसः ॥ 2-3-9-३० ॥
There (to the place of penance) arrived the Lord, endowed with countless virtues, with great inner devotion and love. His mind was deeply agitated due to separation from Sati, and he came to perform penance, seeking solace in asceticism.
