असूत सा नागवधूपभोग्यं सुतमुत्तमम् ॥ समुद्रबद्धसत्सख्यं मैनाकाभिधमद्भुतम् ॥ ४६ ॥
She gave birth to a beautiful son Maināka who later on became the worthy recepient of the love of Nāga ladies and who later on entered into an alliance with the lord of ocean.
english translation
वृत्रशत्रावपि क्रुद्धे वेदनाशं सपक्षकम् ॥ पविक्षतानां देवर्षे पक्षच्छिदि वराङ्गकम् ॥ ४७ ॥
O celestial sage, when Indra, the slayer of Vṛtra, became angry and began to chop off the wings of mountains, he retained his wings, nay, he did not even feel the pain of being wounded by the thunderbolt.
english translation
प्रवरं शतपुत्राणां महाबलपराक्रमम् ॥ स्वोद्भवानां महीध्राणां पर्वतेन्द्रैकधिष्ठितम् ॥ ४८॥
He had good limbs. He had neat strength and prowess. He was the most important of all the mountains born of him. He too became the lord of mountains.

आसीन्महोत्सवस्तत्र हिमाचलपुरेऽद्भुतः ॥ दम्पत्योः प्रमुदाधिक्यं बभूव क्लेशसंक्षयः ॥४९॥
In the city of Himācala there was a wonderful celebration of the event. The couple were highly delighted. Their pain was at an end.

दानन्ददौ द्विजातिभ्योऽन्येभ्यश्च प्रददौ धनम् ॥ शिवाशिवपदद्वन्द्वे स्नेहोऽभूदधिकस्तयोः ॥2-3-5-५०॥
