दृष्ट्वा तानागतान्देवान्प्रणनाम मुदा गिरिः ॥ संमानं कृतवान्भक्त्या प्रशंसन्स्व विधिं महान् ॥ ११ ॥
On seeing the gods after their arrival, the noble Himācala bowed to them gladly and honoured them with devotion. He praised his own good fortune.
english translation
dRSTvA tAnAgatAndevAnpraNanAma mudA giriH ॥ saMmAnaM kRtavAnbhaktyA prazaMsansva vidhiM mahAn ॥ 11 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसाञ्जलिर्नतशीर्षो हि स तुष्टाव सुभक्तितः ॥ रोमोद्गमो महानासीद्गिरेः प्रेमाश्रवोऽपतन् ॥ १२ ॥
With the head bent down and palms joined in reverence, he eulogised them with great devotion. Himācala’s hair stood on end and tears of love fell from his eyes.
english translation
sAJjalirnatazIrSo hi sa tuSTAva subhaktitaH ॥ romodgamo mahAnAsIdgireH premAzravo'patan ॥ 12 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptततः प्रणम्य सुप्रीतो हिमशैलः प्रसन्नधीः ॥ उवाच प्रणतो भूत्वा मुने विष्ण्वादिकान्सुरान् ॥१३॥
O sage, after bowing to them, the delighted Himācala spoke thus to Viṣṇu and other gods.
english translation
tataH praNamya suprIto himazailaH prasannadhIH ॥ uvAca praNato bhUtvA mune viSNvAdikAnsurAn ॥13॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptहिमाचल उवाच ॥ अद्य मे सफलं जन्म सफलं सुमहत्तपः ॥ अद्य मे सफलं ज्ञानमद्य मे सफलाः क्रियाः ॥१४॥
Himācala said: Today my life has become fruitful. My good penance has become fruitful. Today my knowledge has become fruitful. Today my sacred rites have become fruitful.
english translation
himAcala uvAca ॥ adya me saphalaM janma saphalaM sumahattapaH ॥ adya me saphalaM jJAnamadya me saphalAH kriyAH ॥14॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptधन्योऽहमद्य संजातो धन्या मे सकला क्षितिः ॥ धन्यं कुलं तथा दारास्सर्वं धन्यं न संशयः ॥ १५ ॥
I have become blessed today. My entire kingdom, my wife and family have become blessed. Everything has become blessed. There is no doubt about it.
english translation
dhanyo'hamadya saMjAto dhanyA me sakalA kSitiH ॥ dhanyaM kulaM tathA dArAssarvaM dhanyaM na saMzayaH ॥ 15 ॥
