ब्रह्मोवाच॥ इत्याकर्ण्य वचस्तस्य राज्ञस्सुरगणस्य हि ॥ अनुजग्राह तं विप्रो दधीचस्तपसां निधिः ॥४६॥
Brahmā said: On hearing the words of the king on behalf of the devas, the brahmin Dadhīca, the storehouse of penance, blessed him.
english translation
brahmovAca॥ ityAkarNya vacastasya rAjJassuragaNasya hi ॥ anujagrAha taM vipro dadhIcastapasAM nidhiH ॥46॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअथ दृष्ट्वा रमेशादीन् क्रोधविह्वलितो मुनिः ॥ हृदि स्मृत्वा शिवं विष्णुं शशाप च सुरानपि ॥४७॥
Then, on seeing the lord of Lakṣmī Viṣṇu and others, the sage was angry. Remembering Śiva, he cursed Viṣṇu and the devas.
english translation
atha dRSTvA ramezAdIn krodhavihvalito muniH ॥ hRdi smRtvA zivaM viSNuM zazApa ca surAnapi ॥47॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptदधीच उवाच ॥ रुद्रकोपाग्निना देवास्सदेवेंद्रा मुनीश्वराः ॥ ध्वस्ता भवंतु देवेन विष्णुना च समं गणैः ॥ ४८ ॥
Dadhīca said: Let the gods with Indra, the sages and the lord Viṣṇu be burnt in the fire of the anger of Rudra.
english translation
dadhIca uvAca ॥ rudrakopAgninA devAssadeveMdrA munIzvarAH ॥ dhvastA bhavaMtu devena viSNunA ca samaM gaNaiH ॥ 48 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscript॥ ब्रह्मोवाच ॥ ॥ एवं शप्त्वा सुरान् प्रेक्ष्य क्षुवमाह ततो मुनिः ॥ देवैश्च पूज्यो राजेन्द्र नृपैश्चैव द्विजोत्तमः ॥ ४९ ॥
Brahmā said: After cursing them he looked at Kṣuva and said—“O leader of kings, a brahmin is worthy of being respected by devas, kings and the best of other castes.

॥ brahmovAca ॥ ॥ evaM zaptvA surAn prekSya kSuvamAha tato muniH ॥ devaizca pUjyo rAjendra nRpaizcaiva dvijottamaH ॥ 49 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptब्राह्मणा एव राजेन्द्र बलिनः प्रभविष्णवः ॥ इत्युक्त्वा स स्फुट विप्रः प्रविवेश निजाश्रमम् ॥ 2-2-39-५० ॥
O leader of kings, only brahmins are powerful, and influential”. After saying thus clearly the brahmin entered his hermitage.

brAhmaNA eva rAjendra balinaH prabhaviSNavaH ॥ ityuktvA sa sphuTa vipraH praviveza nijAzramam ॥ 2-2-39-50 ॥
