विडंबिता स्वधा तत्र सा स्वाहा दक्षिणा तथा॥ मंत्रास्तंत्रास्तथा चान्ये तत्रस्था गणनायकैः॥५६॥
Svadhā, Svāhā, Dakṣiṇā Mantras and Tantras, all those who were there were molested and mortified by the leaders of Gaṇas.
english translation
viDaMbitA svadhA tatra sA svAhA dakSiNA tathA॥ maMtrAstaMtrAstathA cAnye tatrasthA gaNanAyakaiH॥56॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptववृषुस्ते पुरीषाणि वितानाऽग्नौ रुषा गणाः॥ अनिर्वाच्यं तदा चक्रुर्गणा वीरास्तमध्वरम् ॥५७॥
The Gaṇas furiously showered filth and rubbish on the sacrificial fire. The heroic Gaṇas made the sacrifice inexpressibly impure.
english translation
vavRSuste purISANi vitAnA'gnau ruSA gaNAH॥ anirvAcyaM tadA cakrurgaNA vIrAstamadhvaram ॥57॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअंतर्वेद्यंतरगतं निलीनं तद्भयाद्बलात् ॥ आनिनाय समाज्ञाय वीरभद्रेः स्वभूश्चुतम् ॥५८॥
After coming to know that Dakṣa had hidden himself behind the altar due to his fright, Vīrabhadra dragged him out with force.
english translation
aMtarvedyaMtaragataM nilInaM tadbhayAdbalAt ॥ AninAya samAjJAya vIrabhadreH svabhUzcutam ॥58॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptकपोलेऽस्य गृहीत्वा तु खड्गेनोपहृतं शिरः ॥ अभेद्यमभवत्तस्य तच्च योगप्रभावतः ॥ ५९ ॥
He was caught hold of by his cheeks, his head and was struck with the sword. Due to the yogic power of Dakṣa it could not be split.
english translation
kapole'sya gRhItvA tu khaDgenopahRtaM ziraH ॥ abhedyamabhavattasya tacca yogaprabhAvataH ॥ 59 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअभेद्यं तच्छिरो मत्वा शस्त्रास्त्रैश्च तु सर्वशः ॥ करेण त्रोटयामास पद्भ्यामाक्रम्य चोरसि ॥ 2-2-37-६० ॥
Thinking that his head could not be pierced or cut with weapons he kicked his chest with the foot and wrested the head with his hand.

abhedyaM tacchiro matvA zastrAstraizca tu sarvazaH ॥ kareNa troTayAmAsa padbhyAmAkramya corasi ॥ 2-2-37-60 ॥
