सा सत्येव जगद्धात्री जगद्रक्षणकारिणी ।। अनादिशक्तिः कल्पान्ते जगत्संहारकारिणी ।। ११ ।।

sanskrit

That Satī alone is the creator of the universe, the protectress of the universe, the cause of destruction of the universe at the end of the Kalpa. She is the primordial Śakti.

english translation

sA satyeva jagaddhAtrI jagadrakSaNakAriNI || anAdizaktiH kalpAnte jagatsaMhArakAriNI || 11 ||

That Satī alone is the Māyā of the universe, the mother of Viṣṇu, of diverse shining features, and the mother of Brahmā, Indra, the moon, the fire, the sun and the devas.

सा सत्येव तपोधर्मदातादिफलदायिनी ।। शंभुशक्तिर्महादेवी दुष्टहंत्री परात्परा ।।१३।।

That Satī alone is the bestower of the fruits of penance, charitable gifts and virtuous actions. She is the Śakti of Śiva, the great Goddess, the destroyer of the wicked and the greatest of the great.

sA satyeva tapodharmadAtAdiphaladAyinI || zaMbhuzaktirmahAdevI duSTahaMtrI parAtparA ||13||

ईदृग्विधा सती देवी यस्य पत्नी सदा प्रिया ।। तस्यै भागो न दत्तस्ते मूढेन कुविचारिणा ।।१४।।

The due share has not been offered by you who are foolish and evil-minded to the lord whose ever beloved wife is the goddess Satī of such glorious features.

IdRgvidhA satI devI yasya patnI sadA priyA || tasyai bhAgo na dattaste mUDhena kuvicAriNA ||14||

Śiva indeed is the great lord, the lord of all, the greatest of the great, worthy of being served by Viṣṇu, Brahmā and others and the cause of all welfare.
