सर्वैर्देवादिभिस्तात प्रणमत्वममुं हरिम् ॥ वर्णयंतु हरिं वेदा ममैते मामिवाज्ञया ॥ १६ ॥
english translation
राम उवाच ॥ इत्युक्त्वाथ स्वयं रुद्रोऽनमद्वै गरुडध्वजम् ॥ विष्णुभक्तिप्रसन्नात्मा वरदो भक्तवत्सलः ॥ १७॥
Rāma said: So saying, Rudra, Himself bowed to Garuḍa-bannered Viṣṇu. The bestower of boons, He who is favourably disposed to His devotees, felt delighted by his devotion to Viṣṇu.
english translation
ततो ब्रह्मादिभिर्देवैः सर्वरूपसुरैस्तथा ॥ मुनिसिद्धादिभिश्चैवं वंदितोभूद्धरिस्तदा ॥ १८ ॥
Then Viṣṇu was duly revered by Brahmā followed by devas, sages, Siddhas and others.
english translation
ततो महेशो हरयेशंसद्दिविषदां तदा ॥ महावरान् सुप्रसन्नो धृतवान्भक्तवत्सलः ॥ १९ ॥
Then the delighted Lord Śiva, favourably disposed towards his devotees, bestowed great boons on Viṣṇu and the other devas.
english translation
महेश उवाच ॥ त्वं कर्ता सर्वलोकानां भर्ता हर्ता मदाज्ञया ॥ दाता धर्मार्थकामानां शास्ता दुर्नयकारिणाम् ॥ 2-2-25-२० ॥
Lord Śiva said: At my bidding you are now the creator, sustainer and destroyer of all the worlds. You are the bestower of virtue, wealth and love and the chastiser of people of evil predilection.
