महेश उवाच ॥ त्वं कर्ता सर्वलोकानां भर्ता हर्ता मदाज्ञया ॥ दाता धर्मार्थकामानां शास्ता दुर्नयकारिणाम् ॥ 2-2-25-२० ॥
Lord Śiva said: At my bidding you are now the creator, sustainer and destroyer of all the worlds. You are the bestower of virtue, wealth and love and the chastiser of people of evil predilection.
