ततश्शिवा शिवश्चैव यथाविधि प्रहृष्टवत् ॥ अग्नेः प्रदक्षिणं चक्रे मदाचार्यद्विजाज्ञया ॥११॥
Then at my bidding in the capacity of the main priest, Śivā and Śiva duly and with great delight performed the circumambulation of the sacred fire.
english translation
tatazzivA zivazcaiva yathAvidhi prahRSTavat ॥ agneH pradakSiNaM cakre madAcAryadvijAjJayA ॥11॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतदा महोत्सवस्तत्राद्भुतोभूद्द्विजसत्तम ॥ सर्वेषां सुखदं वाद्यं गीतनृत्यपुरस्सरम् ॥१२॥
O excellent brahmin, then wonderfully great festivities were conducted with beatings of drums and playings on musical instruments accompanied by songs and dances pleasing everyone.
english translation
tadA mahotsavastatrAdbhutobhUddvijasattama ॥ sarveSAM sukhadaM vAdyaM gItanRtyapurassaram ॥12॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतदानीमद्भुतं तत्र चरितं समभूदति ॥ सुविस्मयकरं तात तच्छृणु त्वं वदामि ते ॥ १३ ॥
Then a surprisingly strange- event occurred there. Dear one, listen to it. I shall tell you.
english translation
tadAnImadbhutaM tatra caritaM samabhUdati ॥ suvismayakaraM tAta tacchRNu tvaM vadAmi te ॥ 13 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptदुर्ज्ञेया शांभवी माया तया संमोहितं जगत् ॥ सचराचरमत्यंतं सदेवासुरमानुषम् ॥ १४ ॥
Śiva’s power of illusion is inscrutable. The whole universe, the mobile or immobile, is deluded by it, Devas and Asuras.
english translation
durjJeyA zAMbhavI mAyA tayA saMmohitaM jagat ॥ sacarAcaramatyaMtaM sadevAsuramAnuSam ॥ 14 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptयोऽहं शंभुं मोहयितुं पुरैच्छं कपटेन ह ॥ मां च तं शंकरस्तात मोहयामास लीलया ॥ १५ ॥
Formerly I wished to delude Śiva by deceitful means. But now Śiva Himself has deluded me by means of His divine sports.

yo'haM zaMbhuM mohayituM puraicchaM kapaTena ha ॥ mAM ca taM zaMkarastAta mohayAmAsa lIlayA ॥ 15 ॥
