एतच्छ्रुत्वा वचस्तस्य साभीष्टफल भावनम् ॥ तूष्णीं तस्थौ प्रमुदिता वरं प्राप्य मनोगतम् ॥ १६ ॥
On hearing his words embracing the fruits of her cherished desire she kept silent. She was highly delighted on obtaining the boon (or bridegroom) stationed in her mind.
english translation
etacchrutvA vacastasya sAbhISTaphala bhAvanam ॥ tUSNIM tasthau pramuditA varaM prApya manogatam ॥ 16 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसकामस्य हरस्याग्रे स्थिता सा चारुहासिनी ॥ अकरोन्निजभावांश्च हावान्कामविवर्द्धनान् ॥ १७ ॥
She stood smiling sweetly before Śiva who was full of love. She opened her inmost feelings through various subtle gestures that increased notions of love.
english translation
sakAmasya harasyAgre sthitA sA cAruhAsinI ॥ akaronnijabhAvAMzca hAvAnkAmavivarddhanAn ॥ 17 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptततो भावान्समादाय शृंगाराख्यो रसस्तदा ॥ तयोश्चित्ते विवेशाशु कला हावा यथोदितम् ॥ १८ ॥
Taking up these notions, gestures and feelings, the flavour of love called Śṛṅgāra entered their hearts.

tato bhAvAnsamAdAya zRMgArAkhyo rasastadA ॥ tayozcitte vivezAzu kalA hAvA yathoditam ॥ 18 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतत्प्रवेशात्तु देवर्षे लोकलीलानुसारिणोः ॥ काप्यभिख्या तयोरासीच्चित्रा चन्द्रमसोर्यथा ॥ १९ ॥
O celestial sage, by the advent of the flavour of love, a peculiar glow, in the usual manner of worldly sports, was manifest in them as in the star Citrā and the moon.
english translation
tatpravezAttu devarSe lokalIlAnusAriNoH ॥ kApyabhikhyA tayorAsIccitrA candramasoryathA ॥ 19 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptरेजे सती हरं प्राप्य स्निग्धभिन्नांजनप्रभा ॥ चन्द्राभ्याशेऽभ्रलेखेव स्फटिकोज्ज्वलवर्ष्मणः ॥2-2-17-२०॥
In the presence of Śiva whose body shone with the brilliance of crystal, Satī who had the glossy brilliance of split collyrium, shone like a line of cloud near the moon.
