दातुं गच्छ वरं तस्यै कृपां कुरु महेश्वर ॥ तां विवाहय सुप्रीत्या वरं दत्त्वा च तादृशम् ॥५१॥
O Lord Śiva, be merciful to her. Grant her the desired boon. Then lovingly marry her.
english translation
dAtuM gaccha varaM tasyai kRpAM kuru mahezvara ॥ tAM vivAhaya suprItyA varaM dattvA ca tAdRzam ॥51॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptहरेर्मम च देवानामियं वाञ्छास्ति शंकर ॥ परिपूरय सद्दृष्ट्या पश्यामोत्सवमादरात् ॥ ५२ ॥
O Śiva, this is the desire of Viṣṇu, the devas and mine too. With a benignant look fulfil our desire. Let us see the wedding festivities with devotion.
english translation
harermama ca devAnAmiyaM vAJchAsti zaMkara ॥ paripUraya saddRSTyA pazyAmotsavamAdarAt ॥ 52 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptमङ्गलं परमं भूयात्त्रिलोकेषु सुखावहम् ॥ सर्वज्वरो विनश्येद्वै सर्वेषां नात्र संशयः ॥ ५३ ॥
Let there be a happy and auspicious occasion (for that) in the three worlds. Let all ailments vanish. Let there be no doubt about it.
english translation
maGgalaM paramaM bhUyAttrilokeSu sukhAvaham ॥ sarvajvaro vinazyedvai sarveSAM nAtra saMzayaH ॥ 53 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअथवास्मद्वचश्शेषे वदंत मधुसूदनः ॥ लीलाजाकृतिमीशानं भक्तवत्सलमच्युतः ॥ ५४ ॥
Then at the conclusion of my speech, Viṣṇu, the slayer of Madhu demon,[2] spoke to Śiva who assumes various forms during His divine sports and who is favourably disposed to his devotees.
english translation
athavAsmadvacazzeSe vadaMta madhusUdanaH ॥ lIlAjAkRtimIzAnaM bhaktavatsalamacyutaH ॥ 54 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptविष्णुरुवाच ॥ देवदेव महादेव करुणाकर शंकर ॥ यदुक्तं ब्रह्मणा सर्वं मदुक्तं तन्न संशयः ॥ ५५ ॥
Viṣṇu said: O great lord, the lord of devas, O Śiva the merciful, there is no doubt in this that what Brahmā has said constitutes what I have to say.
english translation
viSNuruvAca ॥ devadeva mahAdeva karuNAkara zaMkara ॥ yaduktaM brahmaNA sarvaM maduktaM tanna saMzayaH ॥ 55 ॥
