शृणु नाथ महेशान मार्गिता यादृशी त्वया ॥ निवेदयामि सुप्रीत्या तां स्त्रियं तादृशीं प्रभो ॥ ४६ ॥
O lord Śiva, I shall suggest such a woman as you desire for yourself.
english translation
zRNu nAtha mahezAna mArgitA yAdRzI tvayA ॥ nivedayAmi suprItyA tAM striyaM tAdRzIM prabho ॥ 46 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptउमा सा भिन्नरूपेण संजाता कार्यसाधिनी ॥ सरस्वती तथा लक्ष्मीर्द्विधा रूपा पुरा प्रभो ॥४७॥
She is Umā, O lord. Formerly she manifested herself in the forms of Sarasvatī and Lakṣmī in order to fulfil her task.
english translation
umA sA bhinnarUpeNa saMjAtA kAryasAdhinI ॥ sarasvatI tathA lakSmIrdvidhA rUpA purA prabho ॥47॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptपाद्मा कांताऽभवद्विष्णोस्तथा मम सरस्वती ॥ तृतीयरूपा सा नाभूल्लोककार्यहितैषिणी ॥४८॥
Lakṣmī became the wife of Viṣṇu and Sarasvatī mine. From her desire for the welfare of the world she has taken a third form.
english translation
pAdmA kAMtA'bhavadviSNostathA mama sarasvatI ॥ tRtIyarUpA sA nAbhUllokakAryahitaiSiNI ॥48॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptदक्षस्य तनया याभूत्सती नाम्ना तु सा विभो ॥ सैवेदृशी भवेद्भार्या भवेद्धि हितकारिणी ॥ ४९ ॥
She is born now as Dakṣa’s daughter in the name of Satī. O lord, she will be an ideal wife rendering wholesome service.
english translation
dakSasya tanayA yAbhUtsatI nAmnA tu sA vibho ॥ saivedRzI bhavedbhAryA bhaveddhi hitakAriNI ॥ 49 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसा तपस्यति देवेश त्वदर्थं हि दृढव्रता ॥ त्वां पतिं प्राप्तुकामा वै महातेजोवती सती ॥ 2-2-16-५० ॥
O lord of devas, at present she is performing penance for securing you. She is firm in her austere rites. She desires you as her husband. Indeed she is highly brilliant.

sA tapasyati deveza tvadarthaM hi dRDhavratA ॥ tvAM patiM prAptukAmA vai mahAtejovatI satI ॥ 2-2-16-50 ॥
