मधुरप्यकरोत्कर्म युक्तं यत्तस्य मोहने ॥ तच्छृणुष्व महाभाग सत्यं सत्यं वदाम्यहम् ॥ २१ ॥
Spring too did the needful in enchanting Him. O, listen to it, O fortunate Being. I tell you the truth, the truth alone.
english translation
चंपकान्केशरान्वालान्कारणान्पाटलांस्तथा ॥ नागकेशरपुन्नागान्किंशुकान्केतकान्करान् ॥ २२ ॥
He caused the various kinds of flowers to bloom in the place where Śiva was stationed—flowers such as Campakas, Keśaras, Punnāgas, Ketakas, Mallikās, Kurabakas etc. etc.
english translation
मागंधिमल्लिकापर्णभरान्कुरवकांस्तथा ॥ उत्फुल्लयति तत्र स्म यत्र तिष्ठति वै हरः ॥२३॥
He causes to bloom the Māgandhi, Mallikā, leafy trees, and Kuravaka blossoms, in that place where Lord Hara (Shiva) resides.
english translation
सरांस्युत्फुल्लपद्मानि वीजयन् मलयानिलैः ॥ यत्नात्सुगंधीन्यकरोदतीव गिरिशाश्रमे ॥ २४ ॥
He made the lakes abounding in full-blown lotuses in the hermitage of Śiva, very fragrant by causing Malaya breezes to blow.
english translation
लतास्सर्वास्सुमनसो दधुरंकुरसंचयान् ॥ वृक्षांकं चिरभावेन वेष्टयंति स्म तत्र च ॥ २५ ॥
He made creepers full of flowers twine round trees as if resting on their laps with great attachment—Seedlings of Dhattūra were scattered to beautify the place.
