इत्याज्ञप्तो महेन्द्रेण स कामस्समधु प्रियः॥ जगाम तत्स्थलं गर्वादुपायं स्वञ्चकार ह॥१४॥
Being thus commanded by Indra, Kāmadeva, accompanied by his wife (Rati) and Madhu, his friend, went haughtily to that place. He then prepared his own means of attack.
