एवं दशसहस्राणि सैन्यानि मुनिसत्तम ॥ जघान रोषरक्ताक्षो वर्द्धितश्शिवतेजसा ॥ ११ ॥
O excellent sage, thus Aniruddha strengthened by Śiva’s splendour, with eyes turned red by anger, killed all the ten thousand men of the army.
english translation
evaM dazasahasrANi sainyAni munisattama ॥ jaghAna roSaraktAkSo varddhitazzivatejasA ॥ 11 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptलक्षे हतेऽथ योधानां ततो बाणासुरो रुषा ॥ कुभांडं स गृहीत्वा तु युद्धे शौंडं समाह्वयत् ॥ १२ ॥
With the sword captured in the course of the battle he killed ten thousands of horses and charioteers of the lord of Daityas.
english translation
lakSe hate'tha yodhAnAM tato bANAsuro ruSA ॥ kubhAMDaM sa gRhItvA tu yuddhe zauMDaM samAhvayat ॥ 12 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअनिरुद्धं महाबुद्धिं द्वन्द्वयुद्धे महा हवे ॥ प्राद्युम्निं रक्षितं शैवतेजसा प्रज्वलत्तनुम् ॥ १३ ॥
When a hundred thousand soldiers had been killed, the Asura Bāṇa furiously entered the fray taking with him Kumbhāṇḍa, expert in war.

aniruddhaM mahAbuddhiM dvandvayuddhe mahA have ॥ prAdyumniM rakSitaM zaivatejasA prajvalattanum ॥ 13 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptततो दशसहस्राणि तुरगाणां रथोत्तमान् ॥ युद्धप्राप्तेन खड्गेन दैत्येन्द्रस्य जघान सः ॥ १४ ॥
He then challenged Aniruddha for a duel in the course of that war—Aniruddha the highly intelligent son of Pradyumna, of refulgent body and protected by Śiva’s brilliance.

tato dazasahasrANi turagANAM rathottamAn ॥ yuddhaprAptena khaDgena daityendrasya jaghAna saH ॥ 14 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतद्वधाय ततश्शक्तिं कालवैश्वानरोपमाम् ॥ अनिरुद्धो गृहीत्वा तां तया तं निजघान हि ॥ १५ ॥
Aniruddha then seized a spear blazing like the fire of death, for killing him and hit him with that.

tadvadhAya tatazzaktiM kAlavaizvAnaropamAm ॥ aniruddho gRhItvA tAM tayA taM nijaghAna hi ॥ 15 ॥
