वसिष्ठाद्यैश्शप्तो भुवनपतिभिस्सप्तमुनिभिस्तथाभूते भूयस्त्वमिति सुचिरं दैत्यसहितः ।। १६ ।।

When the matter stood thus, he was cursed by the seven sages,the virtual lords of the worlds—“You will be crushed by the Daityas for a long time.

english translation

vasiSThAdyaizzapto bhuvanapatibhissaptamunibhistathAbhUte bhUyastvamiti suciraM daityasahitaH || 16 ||
