स्नाय्वस्थिशेषं कुणपं तदासौ क्षयं गतं शोणितमेव सर्वम् ।। यदास्य मांसानि न संति देहं प्रक्षेप्तुकामस्तु हुताशनाय ।। ७ ।।

In the end only the bones and the nerves were left. The entire blood was exhausted. When there remained no flesh to offer he desired to offer his whole body into the fire.

english translation

snAyvasthizeSaM kuNapaM tadAsau kSayaM gataM zoNitameva sarvam || yadAsya mAMsAni na saMti dehaM prakSeptukAmastu hutAzanAya || 7 ||
