॥ ब्रह्मोवाच ॥ ॥ इत्याकर्ण्य वचस्तेषां यमदूता मुनीश्वर ॥ यथागतं ययुस्सर्वे यमलोकं पराङ्मुखाः ॥ ४१ ॥
Brahmā said: O lordly sage, on hearing these words of Śiva’s attendants, the emissaries of Yama returned to Yama’s abode.
english translation
॥ brahmovAca ॥ ॥ ityAkarNya vacasteSAM yamadUtA munIzvara ॥ yathAgataM yayussarve yamalokaM parAGmukhAH ॥ 41 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसर्वं निवेदयामासुश्शमनाय गणा मुने ॥ तद्वृत्तमादितः प्रोक्तं शंभुदूतैश्च धर्मतः ॥ ४२ ॥
O sage, they narrated everything to Yama whatever the messengers of Śiva told them about Dharma etc.
english translation
sarvaM nivedayAmAsuzzamanAya gaNA mune ॥ tadvRttamAditaH proktaM zaMbhudUtaizca dharmataH ॥ 42 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscript॥ धर्मराज उवाच ॥ ॥ सर्वे शृणुत मद्वाक्यं सावधानतया गणाः ॥ तदेव प्रीत्या कुरुत मच्छासनपुरस्सरम् ॥४३॥
Dharmarāja said: O Gaṇas, listen attentively to what I say. Whatever I direct you to do, you shall do with loving devotion.
english translation
॥ dharmarAja uvAca ॥ ॥ sarve zRNuta madvAkyaM sAvadhAnatayA gaNAH ॥ tadeva prItyA kuruta macchAsanapurassaram ॥43॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptये त्रिपुण्ड्रधरा लोके विभूत्या सितया गणाः॥ ते सर्वे परिहर्तव्या नानेतव्याः कदाचन ॥४४॥
O Gaṇas, you shall avoid those persons who bear on their forehead the mark of Tripuṇḍra besmeared with white ashes. Never shall they be brought here.
english translation
ye tripuNDradharA loke vibhUtyA sitayA gaNAH॥ te sarve parihartavyA nAnetavyAH kadAcana ॥44॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptउद्धूलनकरा ये हि विभूत्या सितया गणाः ॥ ते सर्वे परिहर्तव्या नानेतव्याः कदाचन॥४५॥
O Gaṇas, you shall avoid those persons who regularly dust their body with white ashes. Never shall they be brought here.
english translation
uddhUlanakarA ye hi vibhUtyA sitayA gaNAH ॥ te sarve parihartavyA nAnetavyAH kadAcana॥45॥
