शंभोर्गणानथालोक्य भीतैस्तैर्यमकिंकरैः ॥ अवादि प्रणतैरित्थं दुर्वृत्तोऽयं गणा द्विजः ॥ २६ ॥
eeing the attendants of Shambhu (Lord Shiva), the fearful messengers of Yama (the god of death) said, bowing before them: "This Brahmin is of wicked conduct, O attendants of Shiva!"
english translation
zaMbhorgaNAnathAlokya bhItaistairyamakiMkaraiH ॥ avAdi praNatairitthaM durvRtto'yaM gaNA dvijaH ॥ 26 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptयमगणा ऊचुः ॥ कुलाचारं प्रतीर्य्यैष पित्रोर्वाक्यपराङ्मुखः ॥ सत्यशौचपरिभ्रष्टस्संध्यास्नानविवर्जितः ॥ २७ ॥
Yamagaṇas said: O Gaṇas, this is a wicked brahmin who has broken the traditions and conventions of his family. He has disobeyed his father’s directions and has forsaken truthfulness or purity. He does not offer his Sandhyā prayers. He does not take his ceremonial baths regularly.
english translation
yamagaNA UcuH ॥ kulAcAraM pratIryyaiSa pitrorvAkyaparAGmukhaH ॥ satyazaucaparibhraSTassaMdhyAsnAnavivarjitaH ॥ 27 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptआस्तां दूरेस्य कर्मान्यच्छिवनिर्माल्यलंघकः ॥ प्रत्यक्षतोऽत्र वीक्षध्वमस्पृश्योऽयं भवादृशाम् ॥ २८ ॥
Leave aside his other activities. He has now transgressed and outraged the offerings of eatables made to Śiva. You can see this personally. In fact he is not worthy of even being touched by people like you.
english translation
AstAM dUresya karmAnyacchivanirmAlyalaMghakaH ॥ pratyakSato'tra vIkSadhvamaspRzyo'yaM bhavAdRzAm ॥ 28 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptशिवनिर्माल्यभोक्तारश्शिवनिर्म्माल्यलंघकाः ॥ शिवनिर्माल्यदातारः स्पर्शस्तेषां ह्यपुण्यकृत्॥२९॥
Those who consume or outrage the offerings of eatables made to Śiva and those who offer these to others, the mere touch of these persons, it is said, is sinful.
english translation
zivanirmAlyabhoktArazzivanirmmAlyalaMghakAH ॥ zivanirmAlyadAtAraH sparzasteSAM hyapuNyakRt॥29॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptविषमालोक्य वा पेयं श्रेयो वा स्पर्शनं परम्॥ सेवितव्यं शिवस्वं न प्राणः कण्ठगतैरपि ॥2-1-18-३०॥
Even poison is not so dangerous when drunk. Never shall a person make use of Śiva’s property even if he were to die.
english translation
viSamAlokya vA peyaM zreyo vA sparzanaM param॥ sevitavyaM zivasvaM na prANaH kaNThagatairapi ॥2-1-18-30॥
