क्षणेन चेतनां प्राप्य स चोत्तस्थौ प्रतापवान्॥ न चक्रे बाहु युद्धं च मातृबुद्ध्या तया सह ॥२९॥

Immediately the Dānava regained consciousness and got up valorously. He did not fight her with his arms by the thought that she was a woman like his mother.

english translation

kSaNena cetanAM prApya sa cottasthau pratApavAn॥ na cakre bAhu yuddhaM ca mAtRbuddhyA tayA saha ॥29॥
