महामणिश्च युयुधे चोग्रचंडादिभिस्सह ॥ राहुणा सह चन्द्रश्च जीवः शुक्रेण धर्मतः ॥ १६ ॥
Mahāmaṇi fought with Ugracaṇḍa and others. The god Moon fought with Rāhu and Jīva fought with Śukra.
english translation
mahAmaNizca yuyudhe cogracaMDAdibhissaha ॥ rAhuNA saha candrazca jIvaH zukreNa dharmataH ॥ 16 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptनन्दीश्वरादयस्सर्वे दानवप्रवरैस्सह ॥ युयुधुश्च महायुद्धे नोक्ता विस्तरतः पृथक् ॥ १७ ॥
Nandīśvara and the rest fought with leading Dānavas in the great battle. This is not being explained separately.

nandIzvarAdayassarve dAnavapravaraissaha ॥ yuyudhuzca mahAyuddhe noktA vistarataH pRthak ॥ 17 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptवटमूले तदा शंभुस्तस्थौ काल्याः सुतेन च ॥ सर्वे च युयुधुस्सैन्यसमूहास्सततं मुने ॥१८॥
O sage, then Śiva stayed at the foot of the Banyan tree along with Kālī and his son. The hosts of the two armies fought continuously against each other.

vaTamUle tadA zaMbhustasthau kAlyAH sutena ca ॥ sarve ca yuyudhussainyasamUhAssatataM mune ॥18॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptरत्नसिंहासने रम्ये कोटिदानवसंयुतः ॥ उवास शंखचूडश्च रत्नभूषणभूषितः ॥ १९ ॥
Decorated with gemset ornaments, Śaṅkhcūḍa sat on his gemset throne of great beauty attended upon by a crore Dānavas.

ratnasiMhAsane ramye koTidAnavasaMyutaH ॥ uvAsa zaMkhacUDazca ratnabhUSaNabhUSitaH ॥ 19 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptमहायुद्धो बभूवाथ देवासुरविमर्दनः ॥ नानायुधानि दिव्यानि चलंतिस्म महामृधे ॥ 2-5-36-२० ॥
Then ensued a great war in which both gods and Asuras were crushed. In that great war many divine and miraculous weapons were hurled.
