वटमूले तदा शंभुस्तस्थौ काल्याः सुतेन च ।। सर्वे च युयुधुस्सैन्यसमूहास्सततं मुने ।।१८।।

sanskrit

O sage, then Śiva stayed at the foot of the Banyan tree along with Kālī and his son. The hosts of the two armies fought continuously against each other.

english translation

vaTamUle tadA zaMbhustasthau kAlyAH sutena ca || sarve ca yuyudhussainyasamUhAssatataM mune ||18||
