हरेर्विधेश्च स स्वामी निर्गुणस्सगुणस्स हि ॥ यस्य भ्रूभंगमात्रेण सर्वेषां प्रलयो भवेत् ॥२६॥
He is the overlord of Viṣṇu and Brahmā. He is both possessed and devoid of attributes. By a mere twitch of his knitted eyebrow everything is dissolved.
english translation
harervidhezca sa svAmI nirguNassaguNassa hi ॥ yasya bhrUbhaMgamAtreNa sarveSAM pralayo bhavet ॥26॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptशिवस्य पूर्णरूपश्च लोकसंहारकारकः॥ सतां गतिर्दुष्टहंता निर्विकारः परात्परः ॥२७॥
Śiva is the perfect form of gods, the cause of the annihilation of the worlds, the goal of the good, the destroyer of the wicked. He is free from aberrations. He is greater than the greatest.
english translation
zivasya pUrNarUpazca lokasaMhArakArakaH॥ satAM gatirduSTahaMtA nirvikAraH parAtparaH ॥27॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptब्रह्मणोधिपतिस्सोऽपि हरेरपि महेश्वरः॥ अवमान्या न वै तस्य शासना दानवर्षभ॥२८॥
He is the overlord of Brahmā. He is lord Śiva even into Viṣṇu. O excellent Dānava, his behest should never be slighted.
english translation
brahmaNodhipatisso'pi harerapi mahezvaraH॥ avamAnyA na vai tasya zAsanA dAnavarSabha॥28॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptकिं बहूक्तेन राजेन्द्र मनसा संविचार्य च ॥ रुद्रं विद्धि महेशानं परं ब्रह्म चिदात्मकम् ॥२९॥
Of what avail is an unnecessary digression, O great king. Ponder deeply. Know him to be great lord, the great Brahman, the knowledge-formed.
english translation
kiM bahUktena rAjendra manasA saMvicArya ca ॥ rudraM viddhi mahezAnaM paraM brahma cidAtmakam ॥29॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptदेहि राज्यं हि देवानामधिकारांश्च सर्वशः ॥ एवं ते कुशलं तात भविष्यत्यन्यथा भयम् ।2-5-३०॥
Return their kingdoms to the gods as well as their positions of authority. O dear, thus you will fare well. Otherwise, terror will strike you.
english translation
dehi rAjyaM hi devAnAmadhikArAMzca sarvazaH ॥ evaM te kuzalaM tAta bhaviSyatyanyathA bhayam ।2-5-30॥
