इति श्रुत्वा शंखचूडवचनं सुप्रहस्य सः ॥ उवाच दानवेन्द्रं स शंभुदूतस्तु गर्वितम् ॥२१॥
Samtkumāra said: On hearing these words of Śaṅkhacūḍa, the emissary of Śiva laughed aloud and then spoke haughtily to the lord of the Asuras.
english translation
iti zrutvA zaMkhacUDavacanaM suprahasya saH ॥ uvAca dAnavendraM sa zaMbhudUtastu garvitam ॥21॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअन्येषामपि राजेन्द्र गणानां शंकरस्य च ॥ न स्थातुं संमुखे योग्यः किं पुनस्तस्य संमुखम् ॥२२॥
Puṣpadanta said: O Great king, you cannot face the Gaṇas of Śiva. Then how can you face lord Śiva himself?
english translation
anyeSAmapi rAjendra gaNAnAM zaMkarasya ca ॥ na sthAtuM saMmukhe yogyaH kiM punastasya saMmukham ॥22॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptस त्वं देहि च देवानामधिकाराणि सर्वशः ॥ त्वमरे गच्छ पातालं यदि जीवितुमिच्छसि॥२३॥
So return their positions of authority to the gods entirely. Move immediately to Pātāla if you wish to live.
english translation
sa tvaM dehi ca devAnAmadhikArANi sarvazaH ॥ tvamare gaccha pAtAlaM yadi jIvitumicchasi॥23॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसामान्यममरं तं नो विद्धि दानवसत्तम॥ शंकरः परमात्मा हि सर्वेषामीश्वरेश्वरः॥२४॥
O excellent Dānava, do not regard Śiva an ordinary deity. He is indeed the great soul, the lord of the lord of all.
english translation
sAmAnyamamaraM taM no viddhi dAnavasattama॥ zaMkaraH paramAtmA hi sarveSAmIzvarezvaraH॥24॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptइन्द्राद्यास्सकला देवा यस्याज्ञावर्तिनस्सदा॥ सप्रजापतयस्सिद्धा मुनयश्चाप्यहीश्वराः ॥२५॥
Indra and other gods abide by his commands. The Siddhas, the patriarchs, the sages and the serpent lords all follow suit.

indrAdyAssakalA devA yasyAjJAvartinassadA॥ saprajApatayassiddhA munayazcApyahIzvarAH ॥25॥
