पूर्वशापप्रभावेण दानवीं योनिमाश्रितः ॥ न दानवमतिस्सोभूद्दानवत्वेऽपि वै मुने ॥ ३१ ॥
O sage, although he was a Danava, his nature was different. He was born as a Danava due to a previous curse.
english translation
ततस्सुरगणास्सर्वे हृतराज्या पराजिताः ॥ संमंत्र्य सर्षयस्तात प्रययुर्ब्रह्मणस्सभाम् ॥ ३२ ॥
O dear, thereafter, the defeated gods, deprived of their kingdom, consulted among themselves and went to Brahma’s assembly chamber along with the sages.
english translation
तत्र दृष्ट्वा विधातारं नत्वा स्तुत्वा विशेषतः ॥ ब्रह्मणे कथयामासुस्सर्वं वृत्तांतमाकुलाः ॥ ३३ ॥
They saw the creator and bowed to and eulogised him. With distress they explained to him everything in detail.
english translation
ब्रह्मा तदा समाश्वास्य सुरान् सर्वान्मुनीनपि ॥ तैश्च सार्द्धं ययौ लोके वैकुण्ठं सुखदं सताम् ॥ ३४ ॥
After consoling the gods and the sages, Brahmā accompanied by them went to Vaikuṇṭḥa that yields happiness to the good.
english translation
ददर्श तत्र लक्ष्मीशं ब्रह्मा देवगणैस्सह ॥ किरीटिनं कुंडलिनं वनमालाविभूषितम् ॥ ३५ ॥
Accompanied by the gods, Brahmā saw the lord of Lakṣmī decorated with a crown, earrings and a garland of wild flowers.
