पराजितास्सुरास्तेन रमेशं शरणं ययुः ॥ सवासवास्स्ववृत्तांतमाचख्युः स्वार्थसाधकाः॥११॥
The gods including Indra being defeated by him sought refuge in Viṣṇu. Eager to gain their ends they told him all details.
english translation
parAjitAssurAstena ramezaM zaraNaM yayuH ॥ savAsavAssvavRttAMtamAcakhyuH svArthasAdhakAH॥11॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतदाज्ञया सुरैः सार्द्धं चक्रुस्संधिमथो सुराः ॥ स्वकार्यसिद्धये तातच्छलकर्मविचक्षणाः ॥ १२ ॥
O dear, at his bidding, the gods, very clever in deception, made an alliance with the Asuras, to further their own interest.
english translation
tadAjJayA suraiH sArddhaM cakrussaMdhimatho surAH ॥ svakAryasiddhaye tAtacchalakarmavicakSaNAH ॥ 12 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअथामृतार्थे सिंधोश्च मंथनं चक्रुरादरात् ॥ विष्णोस्सहायिनस्ते हि सुरास्सर्वेऽसुरैस्सह॥१३॥
All those gods, the assistants of Viṣṇu churned the ocean eagerly for the gain of nectar, along with the Asuras.
english translation
athAmRtArthe siMdhozca maMthanaM cakrurAdarAt ॥ viSNossahAyinaste hi surAssarve'suraissaha॥13॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptततो रत्नोपहरणमकार्षुर्दैत्यशत्रवः ॥ जगृहुर्यत्नतो देवाः पपुरप्यमृतं छलात् ॥१४॥
The enemies of the Asuras extracted jewels from the ocean. The gods seized the nectar and drank it deceitfully.

tato ratnopaharaNamakArSurdaityazatravaH ॥ jagRhuryatnato devAH papurapyamRtaM chalAt ॥14॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptततः पराभवं चक्रुरसुराणां सहायतः ॥ विष्णोस्सुरास्सचक्रास्तेऽमृतापानाद्बलान्विताः ॥१५॥
Then the gods including Indra increased in strength and prowess by the drinking of the nectar and harassed the Asuras with the assistance of Viṣṇu.

tataH parAbhavaM cakrurasurANAM sahAyataH ॥ viSNossurAssacakrAste'mRtApAnAdbalAnvitAH ॥15॥
