तस्मात्परमिदं दिव्यं चरिष्यथ सुरोत्तमाः ॥ पशुत्वान्मोक्ष्यथ तदा यूयमत्र न संशयः ॥२१॥
Hence O excellent gods, perform this divine rite. You will be released from animalhood. There is no doubt about this.
english translation
tasmAtparamidaM divyaM cariSyatha surottamAH ॥ pazutvAnmokSyatha tadA yUyamatra na saMzayaH ॥21॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसनत्कुमार उवाच ॥ इत्याकर्ण्य वचस्तस्य महेशस्य परात्मनः ॥ तथेति चाब्रुवन्देवा हरिब्रह्मादयस्तथा ॥ २२ ॥
Sanatkumāra said: On hearing these words of lord Śiva, the great soul, Viṣṇu, Brahmā and other gods said. “So be it.”
english translation
sanatkumAra uvAca ॥ ityAkarNya vacastasya mahezasya parAtmanaH ॥ tatheti cAbruvandevA haribrahmAdayastathA ॥ 22 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतस्माद्वै पशवस्सर्वे देवासुरवराः प्रभोः ॥ रुद्रः पशुपतिश्चैव पशुपाशविमोचकः ॥ २३ ॥
Hence all the gods and Asuras became the animals of the lord. Śiva became the lord of animals. He is the person who unties the nooses of the animals.

tasmAdvai pazavassarve devAsuravarAH prabhoH ॥ rudraH pazupatizcaiva pazupAzavimocakaH ॥ 23 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतदा पक्षुपतीत्येतत्तस्य नाम महेशितुः ॥ प्रसिद्धमभवद्वध्वा सर्वलोकेषु शर्मदम् ॥ २४ ॥
Then the name Paśupati, that bestows welfare, spread in all the worlds and became renowned.
english translation
tadA pakSupatItyetattasya nAma mahezituH ॥ prasiddhamabhavadvadhvA sarvalokeSu zarmadam ॥ 24 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptमुदा जयेति भाषंतस्सर्वे देवर्षयस्तदा ॥ अमुदंश्चाति देवेशो ब्रह्मा विष्णुः परेऽपि च ॥२५॥
Then the celestial sage, Indra, Brahmā, Viṣṇu and others rejoiced shouting “Victory.”

mudA jayeti bhASaMtassarve devarSayastadA ॥ amudaMzcAti devezo brahmA viSNuH pare'pi ca ॥25॥
