तत्र तत्र कृतस्थानाः शोभयांचक्रिरे रथम् ॥ आवहाद्यास्तथा सप्त सोपानं हैममुत्तमम् ॥ २१ ॥
Taking up their places in the different parts of the chariot, they brightened it up. The seven courses of the wind Āvahaetc. constituted the excellent steps of gold leading the chariot.

tatra tatra kRtasthAnAH zobhayAMcakrire ratham ॥ AvahAdyAstathA sapta sopAnaM haimamuttamam ॥ 21 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptलोकालोकाचलस्तस्योपसोपानस्समंततः ॥ विषयश्च तथा बाह्यो मानसादिस्तु शोभनः ॥ २२ ॥
The Lokāloka mountain formed its side steps. The lake mānasa etc. constituted its brilliant outer and oblique steps.

lokAlokAcalastasyopasopAnassamaMtataH ॥ viSayazca tathA bAhyo mAnasAdistu zobhanaH ॥ 22 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptपाशास्समंततस्तस्य सर्वे वर्षाचलास्स्मृताः ॥ तलास्तस्य रथस्याऽथ सर्वे तलनिवासिनः ॥ २३ ॥
The Varṣa mountains constituted the cords and chains all round the chariot. All the residents of the region Tala constituted the bottem surface of the chariot.

pAzAssamaMtatastasya sarve varSAcalAssmRtAH ॥ talAstasya rathasyA'tha sarve talanivAsinaH ॥ 23 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसारथिर्भगवान्ब्रह्मा देवा रश्मिधराः स्मृताः ॥ प्रतोदो ब्रह्मणस्तस्य प्रणवो ब्रह्मदैवतम् ॥ २४ ॥
Lord Brahmā was the charioteer, the gods were holders of the bridle. Praṇava the Vedic divinity constituted the long whip of Brahma.

sArathirbhagavAnbrahmA devA razmidharAH smRtAH ॥ pratodo brahmaNastasya praNavo brahmadaivatam ॥ 24 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअकारश्च महच्छत्रं मंदरः पार्श्वदंडभाक् ॥ शैलेन्द्रः कार्मुकं तस्य ज्या भुजंगाधिपस्स्वयम् ॥ २५ ॥
The syllable A constituted the great umbrella, Mandara the side staff. The lord of mountains became his bow and the lord of serpents the bowstring.

akArazca mahacchatraM maMdaraH pArzvadaMDabhAk ॥ zailendraH kArmukaM tasya jyA bhujaMgAdhipassvayam ॥ 25 ॥
