वेगस्संवत्सरास्तस्य अयने चक्रसंगमौ ॥ मुहूर्ता वंधुरास्तस्य शम्याश्चैव कलाः स्मृताः ॥ ११ ॥
The year constituted its velocity. The two Ayanas northern and southern constituted the junctions of the wheels and axles. The Muhūrtas constituted the joints and the Kalās the pins of the yoke.

vegassaMvatsarAstasya ayane cakrasaMgamau ॥ muhUrtA vaMdhurAstasya zamyAzcaiva kalAH smRtAH ॥ 11 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतस्य काष्ठाः स्मृता घोणाश्चाक्षदंडाः क्षणाश्च वै ॥ निमेषाश्चानुकर्षश्च ईषाश्चानुलवाः स्मृताः ॥ १२ ॥
The division of time Kāṣṭhā constituted the nose of the chariot and the Kṣaṇas the axle-shaft. The Nimeṣas constituted the bottom of the carriage and the minutest divisions of time constituted the poles.

tasya kASThAH smRtA ghoNAzcAkSadaMDAH kSaNAzca vai ॥ nimeSAzcAnukarSazca ISAzcAnulavAH smRtAH ॥ 12 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptद्यौर्वरूथं रथस्यास्य स्वर्गमोक्षावुभौ ध्वजौ ॥ युगान्तकोटितौ तस्य भ्रमकामदुघौ स्मृतौ ॥१३॥
he firmament constituted the fender of the chariot; Heaven and salvation the flag staffs; Abhṛamu (Abhramu?) and Kāmadhenu constituted its harrows at the end of the shafts.

dyaurvarUthaM rathasyAsya svargamokSAvubhau dhvajau ॥ yugAntakoTitau tasya bhramakAmadughau smRtau ॥13॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptईषादंडस्तथा व्यक्तं वृद्धिस्तस्यैव नड्वलः ॥ कोणास्तस्याप्यहंकारो भूतानि च बलं स्मृतम् ॥ १४ ॥
The unmanifest principle formed their shaft and cosmic intellect the chariot’s reeds. The cosmic Ego cosmic corners and elements its strength.

ISAdaMDastathA vyaktaM vRddhistasyaiva naDvalaH ॥ koNAstasyApyahaMkAro bhUtAni ca balaM smRtam ॥ 14 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptइन्द्रियाणि च तस्यैव भूषणानि समंततः ॥ श्रद्धा च गतिरस्यैव रथस्य मुनिसत्तम ॥ १५ ॥
O excellent sage, the cosmic sense-organs constituted the embellishments of this chariot on all sides. Faith was its movements.

indriyANi ca tasyaiva bhUSaNAni samaMtataH ॥ zraddhA ca gatirasyaiva rathasya munisattama ॥ 15 ॥
