सर्वभूतमयश्चैव सौवर्णस्सर्वसंमतः ॥ रथांगं दक्षिणं सूर्यस्तद्वामं सोम एव च ॥६॥
It was appreciated by all. It was golden in colour and all the elements had gone into its making. The right wheel was the sun and the left wheel was the moon.

sarvabhUtamayazcaiva sauvarNassarvasaMmataH ॥ rathAMgaM dakSiNaM sUryastadvAmaM soma eva ca ॥6॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसर्वभूतमयश्चैव सौवर्णस्सर्वसंमतः ॥ रथांगं दक्षिणं सूर्यस्तद्वामं सोम एव च ॥६॥
The right wheel had twelve spokes. O great brahmin, the twelve Ādityas presided over them. The left wheel had sixteen spokes.

hk transliteration by Sanscriptदक्षिणं द्वादशारं हि षोडशारं तथोत्तरम् ॥ अरेषु तेषु विप्रेन्द्र आदित्या द्वादशैव तु ॥९॥
O you of excellent rites, the sixteen spokes of the left side wheel consisted of the sixteen digits of the moon. All the asterism? embellished the left side.

dakSiNaM dvAdazAraM hi SoDazAraM tathottaram ॥ areSu teSu viprendra AdityA dvAdazaiva tu ॥9॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptशशिनः षोडशारास्तु कला वामस्य सुव्रत ॥ ऋक्षाणि तु तथा तस्य वामस्यैव विभूषणम् ८ ॥
The six seasons constituted the rims of the wheels of the chariot, O great Brahmin. The Puṣkara of the chariot was the sky. The inner side of the chariot was Mandara.

zazinaH SoDazArAstu kalA vAmasya suvrata ॥ RkSANi tu tathA tasya vAmasyaiva vibhUSaNam 8 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअस्ताद्रिरुद(दद्र?)याद्रिस्तु तावुभौ कूबरौ स्मृतौ ॥ अधिष्ठानं महामेरुराश्रयाः केशराचलाः ॥ 2-5-8-१० ॥
The rising and the setting mountains constituted the poleshafts. Mahāmeru was the support and the Keśara mountains the sharp sides.
