एवमुक्त्वा गतस्तत्र मुने सोऽद्यापि वर्तते ॥ दर्शनेनैव सर्वेषां लोकानां पापहारकः ॥ २६ ॥
O sage, he went away saying so. Even today he is staying there removing the sin of all by his very vision.
english translation
evamuktvA gatastatra mune so'dyApi vartate ॥ darzanenaiva sarveSAM lokAnAM pApahArakaH ॥ 26 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतद्दिनं हि समारभ्य कार्तिकेयस्य तस्य वै ॥ शिवपुत्रस्य देवर्षे कुमारत्वं प्रतिष्ठितम् ॥२७॥
Ever since that day, O celestial sage, the son of Śiva, Kārttikeya remains a bachelor.
english translation
taddinaM hi samArabhya kArtikeyasya tasya vai ॥ zivaputrasya devarSe kumAratvaM pratiSThitam ॥27॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतन्नाम शुभदं लोके प्रसिद्धं भुवनत्रये ॥ सर्वपापहरं पुण्यं ब्रह्मचर्यप्रदं परम्॥२८॥
His name bestows auspiciousness in the world. It is famous in the three worlds. It dispels all sins, is meritorious and confers the sanctity of celibacy.

tannAma zubhadaM loke prasiddhaM bhuvanatraye ॥ sarvapApaharaM puNyaM brahmacaryapradaM param॥28॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptकार्तिक्यां च सदा देवा ऋषयश्च सतीर्थकाः॥ दर्शनार्थं कुमारस्य गच्छंति च मुनीश्वराः ॥२९॥
In the month of Kārttika, the gods, the holy sages and great ascetics go there to see Kumāra.
english translation
kArtikyAM ca sadA devA RSayazca satIrthakAH॥ darzanArthaM kumArasya gacchaMti ca munIzvarAH ॥29॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptकार्तिक्यां कृत्तिकासंगे कुर्याद्यः स्वामिदर्शनम्॥ तस्य पापं दहेत्सर्वं चित्तेप्सित फलं लभेत् ॥2-4-20-३०॥
He who has the vision of the lord in the Kṛttikā Nakṣatra in the month of Kārttika is divested of all sins. He derives all desired fruits.

kArtikyAM kRttikAsaMge kuryAdyaH svAmidarzanam॥ tasya pApaM dahetsarvaM cittepsita phalaM labhet ॥2-4-20-30॥
