समागत्य सखी तत्र वृत्तांतं समबुध्यत ॥ क्षणमात्रं तदा दृष्ट्वा गता हृष्टा शिवांतिकम् ॥३१॥
The friend came to the door and saw them for a moment. She understood the whole matter. She was delighted and returned to Pārvatī.

तत्र गत्वा तु तत्सर्वं वृत्तं तद्यदभून्मुने ॥ अशेषेण तया सख्या कथितं गिरिजाग्रतः ॥ ३२ ॥
O sage, coming back she reported the matter to Pārvatī as it had occurred.

सख्युवाच ॥ अस्मदीयो गणो यो हि स्थितो द्वारि महेश्वरि ॥ निर्भर्त्सयति तं वीराश्शंकरस्य गणा ध्रुवम् ॥३३॥
The friend said O great Goddess, the heroic Gaṇas of Śiva arc taunting and rebuking our own Gaṇa who is standing at the door.

शिवश्चैव गणास्सर्वे विना तेऽवसरं कथम् ॥ प्रविशंति हठाद्गेहे नैतच्छुभतरं तव ॥३४॥
How do these Gaṇas and Śiva enter your apartment suddenly without looking to your convenience? This is not good for you.
english translation
सम्यक् कृतं ह्यनेनैव न हि कोपि प्रवेशितः ॥ दुःखं चैवानुभूयात्र तिरस्कारादिकं तथा ॥ ३५ ॥
Even after undergoing the misery of rebuke etc. he, our Gaṇa, has done well in not allowing anyone in.
