Pārvatī caused the entire outskirts of the city fully decorated with Padmarāga and other gems. The main highway was rendered beautiful and auspicious.

पतिपुत्रवतीभिश्च साध्वीभिः स्त्रीभिरन्विता ॥ लक्ष्म्यादित्रिंशद्देवीश्च पुरः कृत्वा समाययौ॥१९॥
The thirty goddesses Lakṣmī and others stood in front, along with chaste ladies whose husbands and sons were alive and Pārvatī stood ahead of them.

रम्भाद्यप्सरसो दिव्यास्स स्मिता वेषसंयुताः ॥ संगीतनर्तनपरा बभूवुश्च शिवाज्ञया ॥2-4-5-२०॥
At the bidding of Pārvatī, the smiling celestial damsels, Rambhā and others, dressed gorgeously, were engaged in singing and dancing.
