ब्रह्मोवाच ॥ रते तु तिष्ठतो वीर्यं पपात वसुधातले ॥ मया ज्ञातममोघं तच्छंकरस्य प्रकोपतः ॥ २१ ॥
Brahmā said: The infallible semen of Śiva, infuriated at the intervention in the course of his sexual dalliance, fell on the ground. This was observed by me.
english translation
॥ क्षितिरुवाच ॥ वीर्यं सोढुमशक्ताहं तद्वह्नो न्यक्षिपं पुरा ॥ अतोऽत्र दुर्वहं ब्रह्मन्नबलां क्षंतुमर्हसि ॥ २२ ॥
The Earth said: I was unable to bear the terrible semen. Hence I dropped it into the fire. O lord, please forgive me.

वह्निरुवाच ॥ वीर्यं सोढुमशक्तोहं तव शंकर पर्वते ॥ कैलासे न्यक्षिपं सद्यः कपोतात्मा सुदुस्सहम् ॥ २३ ॥
The fire said: O Śiva, assuming the form of a dove I gulped the semen but could not bear the terrible thing. Hence I immediately dropped it on the mountain Kailasa.
english translation
॥ गिरिरुवाच ॥ वीर्यं सोढुमशक्तोऽहं तव शंकर लोकप ॥ गंगायां प्राक्षिपं सद्यो दुस्सहं परमेश्वर ॥ २४ ॥
The mountain said: O lord of the worlds, I too was unable to bear the terrible thing. O lord, I dropped it in the Gaṅgā.
english translation
॥ गंगोवाच ॥ वीर्यं सोढुमशक्ताहं तव शंकर लोकप ॥ व्याकुलाऽति प्रभो नाथ न्यक्षिपं शरकानने ॥ २५ ॥
Gaṅgā said: O lord of the worlds, I too was unable to bear your terrible semen. O lord, completely exhausted, I dropped it in the grove of Sara plants.
