वह्निरुवाच ॥ वीर्यं सोढुमशक्तोहं तव शंकर पर्वते ॥ कैलासे न्यक्षिपं सद्यः कपोतात्मा सुदुस्सहम् ॥ २३ ॥

sanskrit

The fire said: O Śiva, assuming the form of a dove I gulped the semen but could not bear the terrible thing. Hence I immediately dropped it on the mountain Kailasa.

english translation

vahniruvAca ॥ vIryaM soDhumazaktohaM tava zaMkara parvate ॥ kailAse nyakSipaM sadyaH kapotAtmA sudussaham ॥ 23 ॥
