तावच्च प्रतिमा पूज्य यावद्विज्ञानसंभवः ॥ ज्ञानाभावेन पूज्येत पतनं तस्य निश्चितम् ॥ ६७ ॥
Till the realisation of true knowledge, the idol shall necessarily be worshipped. If any one does not worship the idol before he attains perfect knowledge, his downfall is sure.
