प्रत्ययार्थं च जगतामेकस्थोऽपि दिवाकरः।। एकोऽपि बहुधा दृष्टो जलाधारादिवस्तुषु ।। ५९ ।।

sanskrit

Although the sun is situated in one place, for the sake of the perceptions of the world, he appears in many forms— just as a single object appears multiplied when reflected in different vessels of water.

english translation

pratyayArthaM ca jagatAmekastho'pi divAkaraH|| eko'pi bahudhA dRSTo jalAdhArAdivastuSu || 59 ||
