हरिश्चन्द्रो हालिकं च वृषल्यासह संयुतम् ॥ चारयामास निश्चेष्टं निर्जनं तत्फलं शृणु ॥३६॥
Hariścandra expelled a ploughman in copulation with a Śūdra woman, to wander in a lonely forest. Listen to the effect thereof.
english translation
harizcandro hAlikaM ca vRSalyAsaha saMyutam ॥ cArayAmAsa nizceSTaM nirjanaM tatphalaM zRNu ॥36॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptभ्रष्टः स्त्रीपुत्रराज्येभ्यो विश्वामित्रेण ताडितः ॥ ततश्शिवं समाराध्य मुक्तो भूतो हि कश्मलात् ॥ ३७ ॥
He lost his wife, son and kingdom. He was tarmented by Viśvāmitra. It was only after propitiating Śiva that he could get released from that sin.
english translation
bhraSTaH strIputrarAjyebhyo vizvAmitreNa tADitaH ॥ tatazzivaM samArAdhya mukto bhUto hi kazmalAt ॥ 37 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअजामिलं द्विजश्रेष्ठं वृषल्या सह संयुतम् ॥ न भिया वारयामासुस्सुरास्तां चापि केचन ॥ ३८ ॥
Though Ajāmila, a noble brahmin, was in copulation with a Śūdra woman, gods did not interfere due to this fear.
english translation
ajAmilaM dvijazreSThaM vRSalyA saha saMyutam ॥ na bhiyA vArayAmAsussurAstAM cApi kecana ॥ 38 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसर्वं निषेकसाध्यं च निषेको बलवान् विधे ॥ निषेकफलदो वै स निषेकः केन वार्य्यते ॥ ३९ ॥
Everything can be achieved through the discharge of the semen. O Brahmā, the process of discharge is very effective. The discharge that is fruitful none can withhold.
english translation
sarvaM niSekasAdhyaM ca niSeko balavAn vidhe ॥ niSekaphalado vai sa niSekaH kena vAryyate ॥ 39 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptदिव्यं वर्षसहस्रं च शंभोः संभोगकर्म तत् ॥ पूर्णे वर्षसहस्रे च गत्वा तत्र सुरेश्वराः ॥2-4-1-४०॥
O gods, Śiva’s act of enjoyment will extend to a thousand years of celestial calculation. After that period is over, you can go there and do such things as will necessitate the fall of the semen on the ground.

divyaM varSasahasraM ca zaMbhoH saMbhogakarma tat ॥ pUrNe varSasahasre ca gatvA tatra surezvarAH ॥2-4-1-40॥
