रंभायुक्तं शक्रमिमं चकार विरतं रतौ ॥ महामुनीन्द्रो दुर्वासास्तत्स्त्रीभेदो बभूव ह ॥ ३१ ॥
The sage Durvāsas separated Indra in copulation with Rambhā and the sage got separation from his wife as a result thereof.
english translation
raMbhAyuktaM zakramimaM cakAra virataM ratau ॥ mahAmunIndro durvAsAstatstrIbhedo babhUva ha ॥ 31 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptपुनरन्यां स संप्राप्य विषेव्य शुभपाणिकाम् ॥ दिव्यं वर्षसहस्रं च विजहौ विरहज्वरम् ॥ ३२ ॥
He took another woman as his wife and thus put an end to the pangs of separation lasting for a thousand years of the gods.
english translation
punaranyAM sa saMprApya viSevya zubhapANikAm ॥ divyaM varSasahasraM ca vijahau virahajvaram ॥ 32 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptघृताच्या सह संश्लिष्टं कामं वारितवान् गुरुः ॥ षण्मासाभ्यंतरे चन्द्रस्तस्य पत्नीं जहार ह ॥ ३३ ॥
Bṛhaspati hindered Kāma in copulation with Ghṛtācī but within six months the moon abducted his wife.
english translation
ghRtAcyA saha saMzliSTaM kAmaM vAritavAn guruH ॥ SaNmAsAbhyaMtare candrastasya patnIM jahAra ha ॥ 33 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptपुनश्शिवं समाराध्य कृत्वा तारामयं रणम् ॥ तारां सगर्भां संप्राप्य विजहौ विरहज्वरम् ॥३४ ॥
He then propitiated Śiva, fought a battle over Tārā, enjoyed her even as she was pregnant and tried to dispel his pangs of separation.

punazzivaM samArAdhya kRtvA tArAmayaM raNam ॥ tArAM sagarbhAM saMprApya vijahau virahajvaram ॥34 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptमोहिनीसहितं चन्द्रं चकार विरतं रतौ ॥ महर्षिर्गौतमस्तस्य स्त्रीविच्छेदो बभूव ह ॥ ३५ ॥
The sage Gautama forced the moon in the company of Rohiṇī to desist from sexual dalliance and he suffered the pangs of separation from his wife.
