किमर्थं व्याहृता नाथ स प्रसादो विधीयताम् ॥ तदादिष्टा चरेत्कर्म सुप्रसन्नेन चेतसा ॥ २१ ॥
“O lord, be pleased to say what I have been called for.” Whenever ordered by him to do any job she shall do it gladly.
english translation
kimarthaM vyAhRtA nAtha sa prasAdo vidhIyatAm ॥ tadAdiSTA caretkarma suprasannena cetasA ॥ 21 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptचिरन्तिष्ठेन्न च द्वारे गच्छेन्नैव परालये ॥ आदाय तत्त्वं यत्किंचित्कस्मै चिन्नार्पयेत्क्वचित् ॥ २२ ॥
She shall not stand near the entrance for a long time. She shall not go to other people’s house. She shall not take his money, even though it be a little, and give it to others.
english translation
cirantiSThenna ca dvAre gacchennaiva parAlaye ॥ AdAya tattvaM yatkiMcitkasmai cinnArpayetkvacit ॥ 22 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptपूजोपकरणं सर्वमनुक्ता साधयेत्स्वयम् ॥ प्रतीक्षमाणावसरं यथाकालोचितं हितम् ॥ २३ ॥
Without being told she shall arrange the necessary requisities for his daily worship. She shall wait for the opportunity to do him a timely service.
english translation
pUjopakaraNaM sarvamanuktA sAdhayetsvayam ॥ pratIkSamANAvasaraM yathAkAlocitaM hitam ॥ 23 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptन गच्छेत्तीर्थयात्रां वै पत्याज्ञां न विना क्वचित् ॥ दूरतो वर्जयेत्सा हि समाजोत्सवदर्शनम् ॥ २४ ॥
Without the permission of her husband she shall not go even on pilgrimage. She shall eschew the desire to attend social festivities.
english translation
na gacchettIrthayAtrAM vai patyAjJAM na vinA kvacit ॥ dUrato varjayetsA hi samAjotsavadarzanam ॥ 24 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतीर्थार्थिनी तु या नारी पतिपादोदकम्पिबेत् ॥ तस्मिन्सर्वाणि तीर्थानि क्षेत्राणि च न संशयः ॥ २५ ॥
If a women wants holy water she shall drink the same with which her husband’s feet have been washed. All holy rivers are present in that water.

tIrthArthinI tu yA nArI patipAdodakampibet ॥ tasminsarvANi tIrthAni kSetrANi ca na saMzayaH ॥ 25 ॥
