तस्य सारूप्यतां स्मृत्वा दहेत्पापं नरस्सदा ॥ शिवं ततः समुत्थाप्य पूजयेत्परमेश्वरम् ॥३६॥
By remembering the form of Lord Shiva, one burns away all sins. After rising from the meditation, the devotee should worship the Supreme Lord Shiva with devotion.
english translation
tasya sArUpyatAM smRtvA dahetpApaM narassadA ॥ zivaM tataH samutthApya pUjayetparamezvaram ॥36॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptदेहशुद्धिं ततः कृत्वा मूल मंत्रं न्यसेत्क्रमात् ॥ सर्वत्र प्रणवेनैव षडंगन्यासमाचरेत्॥३७॥
Then the ritualistic purification of the body by touching the various parts of the body with holy water shall be performed. The Nyāsa of the Mūlamantra (the root mantra) and that of the six aṅgas with Praṇava (Oṃkāra) shall be performed thereafter.

dehazuddhiM tataH kRtvA mUla maMtraM nyasetkramAt ॥ sarvatra praNavenaiva SaDaMganyAsamAcaret॥37॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptकृत्वा हृदि प्रयोगं च ततः पूजां समारभेत् ॥ पाद्यार्घाचमनार्थं च पात्राणि च प्रकल्पयेत्॥३८॥
After ritualistically touching the heart, he shall start worship. Different vessels shall be set apart for Pādya (water for washing the feet), Arghya (water for the reception of the guest and Ācamana (sipping water).

kRtvA hRdi prayogaM ca tataH pUjAM samArabhet ॥ pAdyArghAcamanArthaM ca pAtrANi ca prakalpayet॥38॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptस्थापयेद्विविधान्कुंभान्नव धीमान्यथाविधि॥ दर्भैराच्छाद्य तैरेव संस्थाप्याभ्युक्ष्य वारिणा ॥३९॥
One should place two kinds of water pots (Kumbhas) according to the prescribed method. These pots should be covered with darbha grass, and the water should be poured over them to purify the space.

sthApayedvividhAnkuMbhAnnava dhImAnyathAvidhi॥ darbhairAcchAdya taireva saMsthApyAbhyukSya vAriNA ॥39॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतेषु तेषु च सर्वेषु क्षिपेत्तोयं सुशीतलम्॥ प्रणवेन क्षिपेत्तेषु द्रव्याण्यालोक्य बुद्धिमान् ॥2-1-11-४०॥
Into each of these (pots), one should pour cold water. Then, after observing the objects, the wise person should sprinkle them with the sacred syllable 'Om' and offer the required materials.
