पूजाविधिं समादाय स्वासने ह्युपविश्य वै ॥ न्यासादिकं विधायादौ पूजयेत्क्रमशो हरम्॥३१॥
Sitting on a good seat and performing Nyāsa etc. in accordance with the prescribed rules of worship, he shall perform the worship of Śiva duly.

प्रथमं च गणाधीशं द्वारपालांस्तथैव च ॥ दिक्पालांश्च सुसंपूज्य पश्चात्पीठं प्रकल्पयेत् ॥ ३२ ॥
Gaṇeśa, the attendants at the threshold of the Temple, the guardians of the quarters etc., shall be worshipped and thereafter the pedestal shall be arranged.

अथ वाऽष्टदलं कृत्वा पूजाद्रव्यं समीपतः ॥ उपविश्य ततस्तत्र उपवेश्य शिवम् प्रभुम् ॥३३॥
Then, after preparing the offering with an eight-fold arrangement, one should sit near the offering place and place the materials for worship. After this, one should sit in a comfortable position and worship Lord Shiva.

आचमनत्रयं कृत्वा प्रक्षाल्य च पुनः करौ ॥ प्राणायामत्रयं कृत्वा मध्ये ध्यायेच्च त्र्यम्बकम् ॥ ३४ ॥
After performing the ritual of sipping water (Achamana), one should cleanse their hands. Then, performing the three rounds of Pranayama (breathing exercises), one should meditate on Lord Trimbakeshwar (a form of Shiva).

पंचवक्त्रं दशभुजं शुद्धस्फटिकसन्निभम् ॥ सर्वाभरणसंयुक्तं व्याघ्रचर्मोत्तरीयकम् ॥ ३५ ॥
One should visualize Lord Shiva in his five-faced, ten-armed form, shining like pure crystal. He is adorned with all ornaments and wears a tiger-skin cloth.
