शूद्रो नवागुलं कुर्यादिति मानमिदं स्मृतम् ॥ कालदोषं विचार्य्यैव मनुदृष्टं विवर्जयेत् ॥२६॥
A Shudra should make the offering of a nine-fold grain measure; this is the standard that is remembered in the scriptures. However, considering the time and circumstances, one should avoid the practices that are perceived as erroneous, as per the teachings of Manu.

षष्ट्याद्यामाश्च नवमी व्रतमस्तं रवेर्दिनम्॥ तथा श्राद्धदिनं तात निषिद्धं रदधावने ॥ २७ ॥
On Ṣaṣṭī (sixth), Navamī (ninth) and new-moon days, on sundays and days of sacred rites and Śrāddhas, cleaning the teeth with tooth-brush twig is prohibited.
english translation
स्नानं तु विधिवत्कार्यं तीर्थादिषु क्रमेण तु ॥ देशकालविशेषेण स्नानं कार्यं समंत्रकम् ॥ २८ ॥
The daily ablutions shall be performed duly and those in holy centres shall be performed with mantras in accordance with the time and place.

आचम्य प्रथमं तत्र धौतवस्त्रेण चाधरेत् ॥ एकान्ते सुस्थले स्थित्वा संध्याविधिमथाचरेत् ॥२९ ॥
Performing the Ācamana first, wearing washed cloth, he shall perform the Sandhyā prayer in a good isolated place.
english translation
यथायोग्यं विधिं कृत्वा पूजाविधिमथारभेत् ॥ मनस्तु सुस्थिरं कृत्वा पूजागारं प्रविश्य च ॥2-1-11-३०॥
After observing the preliminaries duly he shall enter the chamber of worship keeping the mind steady and begin the rites of worship.
