तेषु तेषु च सर्वेषु क्षिपेत्तोयं सुशीतलम्।। प्रणवेन क्षिपेत्तेषु द्रव्याण्यालोक्य बुद्धिमान् ।।2.1.11.४०।।

sanskrit

Into each of these (pots), one should pour cold water. Then, after observing the objects, the wise person should sprinkle them with the sacred syllable 'Om' and offer the required materials.

english translation

teSu teSu ca sarveSu kSipettoyaM suzItalam|| praNavena kSipetteSu dravyANyAlokya buddhimAn ||2.1.11.40||
