ईदृग्विधं सुदेवं तं स्थितं स्वपुरतः प्रभुम् ॥ दृष्ट्वा जामातरं मेना जहौ शोकम्मुदाऽन्विता ॥ ११ ॥
Seeing the Lord, the beautiful and divine being, standing before her city in this glorious form, Menā, upon seeing her son-in-law (jāmātaram), abandoned all sorrow and was filled with joy.
english translation
प्रशशंस स्वभाग्यं सा गिरिजां भूधरं कुलम् ॥ मेने कृतार्थमात्मानं जहर्ष च पुनः पुनः ॥ १२ ॥
She praised her good luck. She congratulated Pārvatī, the mountain and his entire family. She congratulated herself. She rejoiced again and again.

नीराजनं चकारासौ प्रफुल्लवदना सती ॥ अवलोकपरा तत्र मेना जामातरं मुदा ॥ १३ ॥
Gazing at her son-in-law joyously with beaming face, the chaste lady performed the Nīrājana rite.

गिरिजोक्तमनुस्मृत्य मेना विस्मयमागता ॥ मनसैव ह्युवाचेदं हर्षफुल्लाननाम्बुजा ॥ १४ ॥
Remembering what Pārvatī had told her, Menā was agreeably surprised and with a beaming lotus-like face full of delight she muttered to herself.

यद्वै पुरोक्तं च तया पार्वत्या मम तत्र च ॥ ततोधिकं प्रपश्यामि सौन्दर्य्यं परमेशितुः ॥ १५ ॥
I see the beauty of the great lord far in excess of what Pārvatī had told me before.
