वाचयित्वा च तां सम्यग्स्वीचकार विधानतः ॥ तज्जनन्यापयामास बहुसम्मान्य चादृतः ॥६॥
Causing the letter to be read aloud, He duly accepted the proposal. Honouring the messengers He informed them.
english translation
vAcayitvA ca tAM samyagsvIcakAra vidhAnataH ॥ tajjananyApayAmAsa bahusammAnya cAdRtaH ॥6॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptउवाच सुनिवर्गांस्तान्कार्य्यं सम्यक् कृतं शुभम् ॥ आगन्तव्यं विवाहे मे विवाहस्स्वीकृतो मया ॥७॥
He told the sages—“Every thing is auspicious and well done. All of you shall grace the celebration of my marriage. The marriage proposal has been accepted by me”.
english translation
uvAca sunivargAMstAnkAryyaM samyak kRtaM zubham ॥ AgantavyaM vivAhe me vivAhassvIkRto mayA ॥7॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptइत्याकर्ण्य वचश्शम्भोः प्रहृष्टास्ते प्रणम्य तम्॥ परिक्रम्य ययुर्धाम शंसन्तः स्वं विधिम्परम् ॥ ८ ॥
On hearing these words of Śiva, they were delighted. After bowing to and circumambulating Him they returned joyful of their great luck and grace.
english translation
ityAkarNya vacazzambhoH prahRSTAste praNamya tam॥ parikramya yayurdhAma zaMsantaH svaM vidhimparam ॥ 8 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअथ देवेश्वरश्शम्भुस्सामरस्त्वां मुने द्रुतम् ॥ लौकिकाचारमाश्रित्य महालीलाकरः प्रभुः ॥९॥
Then Śiva, the lord of the gods, the lord indulging in divine sports, remembered you, O sage, in accordance with worldly conventions.
english translation
atha devezvarazzambhussAmarastvAM mune drutam ॥ laukikAcAramAzritya mahAlIlAkaraH prabhuH ॥9॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptत्वमागतः परप्रीत्या प्रशंसंस्त्वं विधिम्परम् ॥ प्रणमंश्च नतस्कन्धो विनीतात्मा कृताञ्जलिः ॥2-3-39-१०॥
You arrived with great devotion toward the Supreme Lord, Praising the highest Creator (Vidhim), bowing with a bent back, Humble in spirit, and with hands joined in reverence (añjali mudrā).
english translation
tvamAgataH paraprItyA prazaMsaMstvaM vidhimparam ॥ praNamaMzca nataskandho vinItAtmA kRtAJjaliH ॥2-3-39-10॥
