तदा प्रकृति लोकेऽस्मिँल्लिंगपूजाविधिः स्मृतः ॥ लिंगे प्रतिष्ठितश्शंभुर्भुक्तिमुक्तिप्रदायकः ॥ ३७ ॥

The rite of the worship of the liṅga is instituted ever since in the world. Śiva installed in the liṅga bestows worldly pleasures and salvation.

tadA prakRti loke'smi~lliMgapUjAvidhiH smRtaH ॥ liMge pratiSThitazzaMbhurbhuktimuktipradAyakaH ॥ 37 ॥
